Where to get the "spot price" for 24kt gold?

    Looking to buy a necklace and from what I gather if you get 20% over the "spot price" then that is a good deal.

    But I'm struggling where to find the spot price for 24kt gold specifically?

    Also does this spot price change based on the country? Say I was going to buy something in Dubai Duty Free... yes I know it's nowhere near as good as the markets, but I want to know just how much over it is compared to the same thing here.
