    The following channels are available via satellite FTA (Free To Air), meaning they can all be picked up with ANY satellite receiver. Just tune in with the details in the table and enjoy! For a guide on how to tune in via a Sky branded receiver, see below the table. For other manufacturers, please consult the user guide on how to tune in new channels.

    Remember, all channels listed below are fully FTA which means NO blocked programmes, sporting events or films! A fair few are in HD also!

    ===========

    SKY / SKY+ STANDARD DEFINITION

    To add new channels to your "Other Channels" section on your standard definition Sky or Sky+ Digibox then simply do the following....

    · Press the "SERVICES" button (near the top of the remote).

    · Highlight "SYSTEM SET-UP", press "SELECT" and then scroll down to "ADD CHANNELS" and press "SELECT".

    · In the appropriate fields enter the information required. To move through the fields simply press the "UP ARROW" and "DOWN ARROW" keys.

    · In the FREQUENCY field enter the 5 digit code, (it starts with either 10, 11 or 12 in the table above). Don't worry about the full stop in the frequencies, you do not have to enter them on Sky set-top boxes.

    · The next three fields are toggle fields, i.e. you use the "LEFT ARROW" and "RIGHT ARROW" keys to change the values.

    Polarisation - either H or V

    Symbol Rate - either 22000 or 27500

    FEC - either 2/3, 5/6 or 7/8

    · Once you have entered all the required information, scroll down to "FIND CHANNEL" and press "SELECT" to scan for the channels and in a few moments it should pop up, along with other channels on the same frequency.

    · Use the "YELLOW" button to place a tick beside each channel you find and wish to store and when you've finished ticking press "SELECT". These channels will now be stored in your "OTHER CHANNELS" menu. (Press "SERVICES" then highlight the "OTHER CHANNELS" option and press "SELECT").

    Thanks to Rick_ for redoing this thread. (stickied and closed).

    We tried to keep the old one but unfortunately it didn’t quite format correctly.
