Looking for alternator for Toyota Corolla 2004 1.4 petrol

Anyone know where I'd pick up one of these? Should I buy new or from a breaker? How much would I expect to pay? TIA, Paul PS I guess I need an alternator? Battery light stays on, battery doesn't charge, alt fuse is OK and voltage at battery is the same (11.5 - 12V) with engine running as not running!
