Neurectomy, has anyone any experience to share?

Hi Folks, has anyone here any experience with neurectomy as a treatment for chronic pain? My interventional radiologist has suggested that a triple neurectomy of ilioinguinal, hypogastric and genitofemoral nerves may provide more long term relief than my current cycle of nerve blocks and pain relief.

It was suggested I talk to my GP about it whilst I was on the table last week. I haven't been able to get in to see him until next week, but will talk over options then.

If anyone has had the procedure? I'd love it if you could share their outcome or experiences, I'd really appreciate it.

Long term/chronic pain can be a beast to deal with and I'm 6yrs into it now and while I'm hoping for the success stories? Any experience good or bad will be appreciated.
