Water flowing through UFH Manifold

Hi all, quick question about water flowing through the UFH manifold upstairs. It seems to be flowing through in an on/off patern on a regular basis. Flows for a few minutes, stops for a few minutes and then repeats this for hours. (At least it sounds like water flowing or pressure of some sort going through it)

It does this even though none of the thermostats in the rooms are calling for heat, and the Air to water system outside is not running. Outside temp is currently 9 Degrees.

System has been in for a few years, I've noticed this on and off over the past few years. The installers have had a few of their workers look at it but they are giving conflicting reasons, contradicting each other a little also and haven't actually explained why this is happening.

If there are any UFH experts out there I'd really appreciate your opinion.

    Thanks v much.
