Charity that will take warm clothing

I have a heap of warm clothing - fleeces, wool jumpers, thermals etc - that I'm getting rid of following a big clearout at home.

Does anyone know of a charity or organisation that would take them to give out to people stuck out in the elements?

I was going to give it all to a local charity shop, but then they'd be for sale - given our weather at the moment I'd sooner it went direct to people who need it now.

I've emailed Tiglin, who run the Lighthouse Cafe in town, but anyone know of any others I could contact?

You could try Muslim Sisterhood. They provide food and clothing at the GPO
