    Hi all

What's the best option to get from Gatwick to London Victoria on a sunday ?

Flight gets in about 11.00am and its hard to see train timetable options

Mods please move to most appropriate forum.

Quickest but very expensive: Gatwick Express.

Cheapest and only slightly slower: Southern service to Victoria (should be about 30 minutes if you don't get a train that stops at every station).

Note! Gatwick is in the Oyster / TFL contactless zone which means you can just tap your card at the barrier (I've heard of issues with AIB cards though). However, if you do this, and then subsequently do a bit of tube travel around London it sets your daily cap much higher (for reasons we don't need to get into here) than if you use separate cards for the train and tube.

Edit: that's weird. Just checking Trainline and there seems to be no direct services between Gatwick and Victoria on Sunday (only). Engineering works I'm guessing.

Victoria is closed Sunday, take any of the Themslink or Southen to central London both stop at London Bridge and the tube. They run every 10-15 mins.

Thameslink Gatwick to Blackfriars and then tube circle line will leave you at Victoria in not much longer.

The National Rail app is easy to use, reliable, and has a real time option.
