I'm never quite sure why this is non-ranking.

Some could say it's not 'open' as it's limited to the Top 24 in the World on the 2 year list, but ultimately that still gives all players the opportunity to qualify purely on performance.

Not really that different to the Matchplay which is the Top 16 on two separate lists.
