I received my 3rd letter today, demanding payment of TV licence. The same day that Grant Thornton report on just the "Toy Show" musical has cost rte 2.2 million. And the initial spending of hundreds of thousands of euro was never signed off by the board.
How can I be expected to pay, when there's no control over how it's being spent?
And sure I'll just pay a second time as part of a taxpayer bail out of RTE.
