How is the new development of mariners point in Wicklow? Is it worth booking?

They’re nice houses & quite expensive but you know that already!

They’re also quite a distance from the amenities of the town & all of that distance is uphill, a very steep uphill. Views are amazing from the estate though.

At least one car in the family would be needed for even basic things like shopping, schools or doctors. No busses pass the estate afaik.

There’s probably a bit of a mix of housing types up that road but also some very nice & probably even more expensive single houses up there.

@dsvd@Baybay either of you end up putting a deposit down on Mariners Point?

I didn’t. Not because of anything untoward. Only really in the market if the right type of property, for us, crops up in the right place etc
