Hi all. My son has been complaining of lower right side abdominal pain and stinging when passing urine. Called caredoc Friday early and they said to go straight to a&e In case it was appendicitis. 3 hours in a&e later, we are told its not appendix, urine and bloods clear so it's either a virus or ibs. He's not unwell so…

Hi all. My son has been complaining of lower right side abdominal pain and stinging when passing urine. Called caredoc Friday early and they said to go straight to a&e In case it was appendicitis. 3 hours in a&e later, we are told its not appendix, urine and bloods clear so it's either a virus or ibs. He's not unwell so not a virus. Told to go home and take calpol and nurofen. He's still in agony and pain moved up around left kidney now. Am I entitled to go back in to a&e and demand a scan of some sort or go through gp? What would ye do?
