Flickering light unit

It doesn’t come across on the photo but this lighting unit is flickering. It’s being fine for years up to now. It works off a dimmer switch. what checks should I go through the correct it?

Replace the dimmer.
Are the bulbs LED by any chance ? If so you need a Dimmer specifically for LED.
