Electrical issues 2015 Citroen C4 Grand Picasso

When I start the car, it makes a beeping sound and then after driving off the service light stays on.

Diagnostic check says the following: battery charge fault-stop the vehicle.

This has been going on for a while not but no issues driving so ignored it.

However today, nothing new on start up and driving for 20 mins and parking up for an hour, unfortunately there was on return to the car.

The parking brake light was flashing and a few other lights were illuminated on the dash.

I got into the car the finest and the car started up no bother however the parking brake wouldn't release.

I googled a few things and disconnected the positive terminal of the battery and ended up doing this a good few times before warnings went away.

I cancelled breakdown recovery and drove home.

However lights came back on in the afternoon and my fix didn't work.

Any suggestions as to what I should do next, other than a drink a big dose of cop on and get things looked at as soon as they happen.

I've also tested the battery with a multimeter, 

Engine off it was about 12.6v

Just as engine started it dropped to 10.8v

And 14.4v with the engine running

We have a 2019 C4 GP and checked our battery readings earlier today. Readings for engine off and running were the same however the voltage when starting stayed above 12 volts. I know these citreons can be very fussy about battery voltage and 10.8 may be bit low.

A new battery for cars with start/stop are not cheap either.

If its not a battery issue, i did find this topic regarding the battery fuse box potection case. Ive found the forum useful for certain info.

Cheers, I spoke to a guy at Roman Electrical Repairs on the dock rd in Limerick today and he said it's probably the Protection & Management Unit that needs replacing.

Maybe I'm a numpty for doing this but I drained the battery last night and got a call out home jump start. Error codes gone, hoping it'll be ok to drive to Limerick later on in the week to get it seen to.

Funny I googled Citroen Protection & Management Unit and it seems what he called the protection & management unit is the same as the battery fuse box potection case i linked in my earlier post! if you look at the photo from the forum post and the you tube clip attched it seems to be the same.

Did you get the problem sorted and how much did it cost?

Sorted today, 40 to diagnose, part was 350 and 120 labour, expensive but that's it all sorted now.
