I am planning a weekend trip in Ireland this summer and looking for suggestions for any small festivals that might be happening across the country. Preferably Blues, Jazz, Roots or Bluegrass style music.
Dunfanaghy Jazz & Blues Festival in Donegal is a great wee festival. Usually every September. Good live music in all the pubs and hotels in town all weekend and a bit of a buzz about the town.
I'm looking for something similar elsewhere for a weekend away. North or South. All suggestions appreciated cheers!
