Planning permission Bedsit.

    Hi

    I'm thinking of converting my Garage, (attached to the house) into a bedsit with kitchen toilet/shower, own front and back door.

    Do I need planning permission from SDCC?

    Has anyone done similar work?

    Needs PP and wont get it.

    In the wisdom of previous governments bedsits were banned. Now we have a huge crisis that bedsits could have helped solve.

    Cheers mate, I remember that bedsit ban now that you mention it.

    Might go down the student accommodation road instead, access from the hall.
