Hi all, got this charger with a new Samsung Galaxy A04S. Shouldn’t one end be USB?

    thanks.

That is a USB C to USB C cable. What you mean by "USB" is called USB A

Most new chargers are USB C to USB C. Older chargers would generally be USB A to Micro USB or similar.

If you have an old charger that's USB A to USB C, you can use that with an old "USB" charger. But you'd likely be best to get a USB C charging brick to plug that cable in to.
