Do you have to let the OMC know if you are selling your apartment?

I am up to date with all my fees and I want to sell but I really dont get on with the management company and i think they might try

and make selling my place difficult in some way that I dont know yet.

Part of the reason I am selling is to get away from this management company and the lack of ability to be able to vote at the AGM due to

being dominated by a fund management company who sit on the board and always have the majority vote.

No you don'r, but before you sign contracts the purchasers solicitor will ask your solicitor to obtain accounts, minutes, and sinking fund status. Very standard requests. Might be worth assembling those documents yourself and providing as much as you can to your solicitor so maybe they don't have to.

Also... they'll see it on DAFT. They may in fact want to buy it !

Also, you don't want to say or do anything which might suggest to the purchaser that there are unhappy differences between you and the OMC. So just play this one straight by the book.

The apartment cannot be sold without the MUD Pack.

Its usually the managing agent that puts this together at the request of your solicitor and the managing agent charges a fee for the service. You shouldnt have to deal with any members of the OMC.

The Management Company also have to consent to the assignment of the lease.

Correct, and in most cases won't care

But if there is any money owed or any other pending legal issue between the OMC and the current owner expect a refusal until addressed. This is how OMC's deal with people who won't pay management fees

Yes indeed. But I'm sure if the OP owed money to the OMC, or had any kind of dispute with the OMC over whether he owed money to them, he would have mentioned that straight off.

No, I dont owe any money but I am in conflict with the management agent and the board over a serious issue that should have come to an AGM and was managed privately until I brought it to the front.
