    Hi all.

I am a spark currently working in the UK. I have my NVQ3 and JIB gold card but not my Level 3 City and Guilds (i did the experienced worker route which means i didn't need the Level 3 to get my NVQ).

Just wondering what the crack is for getting my quals recognised in Ireland and whether there's anything in particular i need to look out for?

I'm presuming registering for the safe register would be a formality but is there anything else i need to know?

    Thanks in advance.

Here is a website for an electrician in a border area that is registered in the north and south that lists his qualifications. I was going to just tag him in the thread but I see he's banned

Oh and it's not Eire unless you're speaking in the Irish language. Ireland will do just fine (Republic of Ireland if you need to clarify but technically that's actually a football team not a country).

Mod edit: As per forum charter please do not mention particular electrical companies. Thank you
