Advice on car for 6months

    Hi everyone,

    looking for advice for a friend who is looking to get a car for the next 6 months before leaving the country. Budget can be stretched to around 5k but the lower the better with the car being mostly used for an urban commute of 20km each way 5 days a week. Basically a reliable A to B machine with space for child seat in back with minimum size of Polo.

    I'm not too familiar with this end of the market but my thinking is towards a naturally aspirated small petrol with enough NCT. But given it would only be for the 6 months before leaving country, wonder what would be an easy sale later on so happy to take any advice.
