Recycling Artificial Xmas Tree or Bin it?

So my ancient artificial tree has drooped its last branch, the needles have dropped, the poor thing is bare, and it has celebrated its last Christmas. Where and how do I get rid of it? Black bin? Green bin? Bring centre? Where do AXTs go to die?
