    Hi

I bought an amiko box a few years ago for free to air channels. However, I since had sky and didn't really use ( I have a dish outside ). I since cancelled sky and although the box works, many channels show a no signal / no info sign and so don't work.

Is there anything I can do to easily get all free channels again?

OP, did you have Sky Q or Sky+Hd? That’s important.

OP, it might be best to have a competent satellite installer look at your set up.

If you had Sky Q (this will be the case if you got Sky for the first time in the last five years or so) you will likely have a wideband LNB (this is the device at the end of the “arm” of your dish that the wires are attached to), this will only work properly with Sky Q or an Arris Freesat 4K box. You will need to swap this for a conventional LNB (a “dual” or “quad”) before you can use other equipment like your Amiko.
