We have a mid / late 19th century traditional farmhouse that has been vacant for many many years. It was at one time in use as a calf shed, but is now empty. It would be lovely to have it renovated / restored, but I'm struggling to find info on where to start. Is there any list of approved conservationists that could come out and survey (under the conservation advice grant scheme)?

If not, has anyone else got any advice, having been through the process? We're in west Wicklow.

We're renovating a stone cottage, about to get started on the extension.

There's some great Facebook groups that are worth joining and learning from.
