Hi, I have a problem with a Hkc 10270 that someone might be able to help with, the house has a wired alarm fitted and the outside shed has a magnetic contact on the door, shed is about 45mt from the panel, the alarm has gone off a few times in the middle of the night recently and shows on the app as (Gross Alarm Shed) Should it be showing as Gross alarm if there is only a magnetic contact fitted on that zone and not a shock sensor?

Is any of the wiring to the shed in underground ducting or similar? Had a situation recently here where a mouse fell into the 4" underground duct between the house and the garage, and had a feast on the wiring of the alarms in the garage, had to rewire several of the sensors in the garage to prevent a repeat, and take action to prevent a repeat by closing off the end of the duct more securely.

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

Wiring to the shed Tested and seems ok, should the gross and pulse be set to 0 on a zone with only a magnetic contact?

More than likely the sensor is faulty and needs to be replaced.
