Old maps online

Hi

Anybody know where I would view old maps online, street directory types, particularly of the North and West of Dublin?

I'm just quite interested in seeing exactly where old roads began and ended, where exactly they got replaced by motorways and bypasses, given how much of the area has been ripped up and down by bypasses, new estates etc.

Re dates, your standard street directory type maps with street names etc for D15 and surrounds would be of particular interest, say 1975, 1990, 2000.

Just quite interested in seeing what roads became motorways, what ended where, and so on.

The OSI website NiallB linked seems to only give 19th c maps. If you want 1975 - 2000 then you can find aerial photos from 1990's onwards on this OSI link - Irish Townland and Historical Map Viewer (arcgis.com). For the 1970s' , I do have an old OSI map that I could photograph - let me know if this is of interest and I will post it up.
