    My RCD keeps tripping.

    Lose power on all sockets.

Sometimes it stays in for nearly half hour

    Any idea welcome

Make sure your immersion is turned off

after that unplug all unnecessary sockets (especially anything with an element)toaster, dishwasher, washing machines etc

    check outside socket too

also turn heating off (check pump)

    Wet Kettle base

    Damp/wet outside socket

    Faulty charger on standby

    Tumble dryer etc

When did this start and have you got anything new recently?

It's either a fault with an appliance, fluid ingress somewhere or a problem with a socket plate due to wiring or decay at the back of it on the terminal blocks.

Unplug everything that's plugged in. Including the fridge. (It will be OK for a few mins)

Reset the RCD then starting with the fridge begin to replace each plug. As you are replacing check cords and plugs for any obvious damage or wetness etc.

Basically trying to zone on a fault by process of elimination before it's time to get the tools out

Fridge will be OK for a few hours off. Just a note.
