    Hi all,

I have an old Mp3 player USB type. Completely dead even with a new AAA battery installed.

Computer wont recognise Mp3 either when device plugged into it.

    Can the files be recovered?

The battery does not need to be in when you plug in the device it should show up as drive d or E in my computer menu in windows try it in a laptop or internet cafe pc
