Hi, I would love to buy an EV but I’m struggling to find the right car. My use case is slightly unusual. My other half drives a van for work and we have one diesel car for regular use. I want a car that can tow and launch boats. The main requirement is to tow a boat a short distance and launch it down a slipway and once or twice a year I would like to be able to tow the boat 100-160km.
I don’t think any EV really works for me in this respect so I’m interested in the Merc GLC diesel hybrid. The 2020-2021 cars look okay money but the newer ones are bonkers money.
Does anyone have one of these and would you recommend it? What is the electric range like?
