Hi all recently had a plumber out giving us a quote of a viesmann combi boiler. he said we won’t need a cold water storage tank up in the attic and will feed the boiler from the mains, another plumber said I would need a water tank up in the attic with a pump pumping down too the new combi boiler, the pump is Scala 2 and…

Hi all
recently had a plumber out giving us a quote of a viesmann combi boiler.
he said we won’t need a cold water storage tank up in the attic and will feed the boiler from the mains,

another plumber said I would need a water tank up in the attic with a pump pumping down too the new combi boiler,

the pump is Scala 2 and cost about €600,so just seen which option is best ?

any advise
