VM fibre issue

    I had regular 500mb broadband with VM for years. I phoned them up recently to get better deal after my contract finished up. I was offered new fibre broadband which I accepted.

    Tech came out yesterday morning to install, worked perfectly until 21:00 and since then is down. Rang 1908 in the morning and was told I will have to wait for technician until 24/01(Red light blinking on the modem). Obviously old connection is gone so have no internet for next 3 weeks which is ridiculous so going to switch.

    I know EIR fibre is available at my house, are they reliable? Or any other recommendation?
