    Not much in the way of meetup. Thought I'd try here. Once a week meeting in a coffee shop or something like that. Let me know.

    Good idea.

    I lobbied Dublin council to install outdoor chess tables and then a culture and community could grow around it like Washington Sq Park in NY.

    There used to be a couple of meetups in Ranelagh and Stillorgan and other places.

    There's a good few Chess clubs in the city. I saw a list once.

    A couple of lads in London set up a chess club during the pandemic and it really took off.

    I think it's called "Four corners", you might find it inspiring.

    A few years ago I was in The Lower Deck in Portebello and there were about 10 people playing chess. I think it was on either a Monday or Tuesday night. Have not been there for a few years so might not be going.

    The Irish Chess Union https://icu.ie has a list of clubs.

    There are outdoor boards on the metals below the people's park in Dun Laoghaire.

    There a few meetups currentlys

    Corrigans, Rathmines every Tuesday at 8pm.

    Sin e every two weeks on Sunday at 4.30pm
