How much do you charge as a pub cover band in 2024

    What is the going rate for a two piece acoustic cover act playing in a pub and a 5-6 pice band also?

    Some pubs seem to still think we're in 1998 with what they offer to pay bands.

    I would have thought no less than €100 a head. And maybe even up to €150 average. Am I wrong?

    I know weddings are different, its just pubs I'm wondering about right now.

    Depends where you are in the country but 2 piece should be starting at 250 and around 100 a head for 5/6 piece band

    Thanks. Its so hard to know. Don't want to overcharge and price the band out of getting gigs but also dont want to be the ones who are not charging enough!

    A pub in Sligo was offering 240 for a 3 piece on New Years Eve! We refused!!
