    Hi all,

I wonder can anyone recommend a book explaining weather forecasting and all its terminology etc.

I’m following a number of threads in the weather section and I’d like to learn more about the terminology’s used and how to read charts, what effect the jet stream has on everything and stratospheric watch etc.

Most importantly the conditions required for snow in Dublin 😂😂.

I’m seriously considering getting some sort of weather station- starting out small- and developing from there.

A good, easy to read, book, (as accessible as possible as I want to be able to do this with the kids), would be of great benefit.

    Any advice greatly appreciated thanks.

    Tom.
