Scented oil spill on brand new furniture

Hi all, looking for advice please. Please see photos below. So we bought a bookcase/stand for sitting room last month which has 5 shelves on it. Over xmas we spilled scented oils on it and sadly it has damaged it by removing the coloured oil stain that was used to paint the furniture. It cost 900 euro so I’m desperate to…

Anyone got any ideas what to do or who to ask?
We bought it from EZ Living Interiors and I’ve asked them via email is there anything to be done and waiting to hear back from them as well.
