Everyone seems to be raving about this, Ive watched 2 episodes so far, my son's opinion is "its barely watchable" and Im in the not bad camp, it looks great and they have clearly put a lot of effort into the visuals but there are some jarring elements in it which you wouldnt see in Japanese productions, so it is a bit too Americanised for me. Part of the charm of watching Japanese stuff is it being different to Hollywood.

A belief in gender identity involves a level of faith as there is nothing tangible to prove its existence which, as something divorced from the physical body, is similar to the idea of a soul. - Colette Colfer

This is fantastic. Watched over three days. Easily one of the best things Netflix have released in a while.

Watched it over the Christmas break and have to say it's deserving of all the praise it's getting. An excellent all rounder with smashing animation and engaging story threads.
