Replacing Sky - Need to know about subtitles on Vodafone & Eir etc..

I'm looking at replacing Sky and just combining a few things - there are some reasonable offers of IPTV from Vodafone & Eir, but I also have two FreeSat capable Samsung TVs and satellite wiring, so it's quite easy to just swap over.

I don't know if there's even any point in connecting to an ISP's TV service, but, if I did, do either of those have adequate subtitling? If not, they're not much use to me.

Freesat's well kitted out for accessibility, but I just don't know what the state of play is with Eir, Vodafone, NowTV etc.
