Anyone who takes on an apprentice is going to have to commit time and probably forgot some earnings in training them up and so they are only interested in serious applicants. So if you are serious about wanting to find an apprenticeship, and if you are young you should, then you are probably sending the wrong message to any potential employer if you are basically telling them you'll taking any job going and not committed to obtaining a qualification.
