I have installed a few satellite systems for family, but never wideband. I got hybrid land, dish etc and have it set up with the 4 legacy work fine, but when I connect 4k Freesat box to wideband,I get no signal. Box works fine if I connect it up to the legacy lnb ports. Just wondering is there anything really simple and obvious I am missing, or any other suggestions. Lal help welcome. Thanks in advance and happy Christmas!

Have you selected the LNB type in settings?

I believe the box auto selects lnb (at least it does on the one I have at home). Haven't seen a setting for selecting lnb type manually

That should work and make sure Cables are connected to the 2 wideband outs on LNB. Then

"You can check what LNB you have by looking in the System Information menu in Settings. Go to the Signal Strength menu and next to Type you will see what LNB you have: "

There may be a option to change type but it appears the box can identify type of lnb in use. Only last thing I would do is reboot box ie power off at rear with cables connected to wide outputs. If no joy contact freetv,ie. They are good.

Try putting the Freesat box into non-Freesat mode and taking it back out again. That worked for me when I moved from a house with a standard LNB to a fibre one.

Thanks Swoofer. Yeah, found free TV to be good before. Will talk to them when they open up if I don't get sorted.
