    So TV box arrived and broadband is due to be installed but I've changed my mind. How the heck do I get someone to talk to?

    You are entitled to 14 days "cooling period" from when the service is activated.

    Presumably it can't be activated without access to your home.

    If you can't get anyone on the phone just wait and contact them after Christmas.

    They won't go ahead with the installation if you don't want it.
