Happy Christmas to any O & O's still lingering around. Have you stopped sending Christmas Cards? Postage stamps are very expensive if you send 40, 50 or more but I still did it this year. Our plan for the big day is turkey, ham, pud, ice cream, a little wine for him and pots of tea and bickies for me, some TV and snooze, basically a quiet night in! Take care everyone, let's hope for some good news in 2024.

And yes, I started phasing out Christmas Cards a couple of years ago and evidently anyone I was sending to felt the same as I got 4 this year, including 3 from immediate family. I have however spoken to most of the others by phone so I am keeping in touch.

Oh my! That's a blast from the past, one of the songs that IS my teens - yes the Beatles were there and lots of others, but that song is the one I remember.

I think we might be twins Jelly ☺️ Yes christmas cards are dwindling as people pop off and lists shorten. Certainly the youngsters when living at home never sent/rec'd any.

That's my era too, but I was very young. As a child I hung around the window of a local record shop which played all the top records loud on the street so I learned the words to sing along. Loved the Everly Brothers, fabulous voices.

I received almost the usual amount of cards. Only two sick and elderly didn't. I don't remember that song so I must be a lot younger than I thought!!! 😉
