Hi just in the last couple of weeks I’ve noticed a slight judder in my car only when taking off in 1st gear. Around the same time I got a message on the car computer stating the egr cooler showing first signs of leak. Car is now booked into BMW dealer to have the egr cooler replaced under a recall.

Im wondering is this egr cooler issue causing the judder i.e leaking cooler onto clutch plates causing them to slip slightly.

it only happens when engaging the clutch in 1st gear and the problem is intermittent and the judder is mild.

The car is a 2017 with 178000 km on the clock. Any ideas about this issue? Thanks
