Car with no insurance

    Hi can anyone advise please?

    My son has moved overseas and his car which is at my house now has no insurance. The car needs to be driven to my other son’s house can I drive it there on my insurance? I have a fully comprehensive policy that permits me to drive other cars not belonging to me, however I would be driving it without the insurance disc displayed. If the Garda stopped me would I be prosecuted for not displaying the insurance?

    best advice anyone can give you is to pick up the phone and call your insurance.
