    hi all,

has anyone any idea approx. how much insurance is on a 50cc lexmoto echo scooter something like this:

50cc Lexmoto Echo Scooter for sale in Co. Dublin for €1,000 on DoneDeal

The person driving it would be 38, female and has a full Irish car licence- not sure they have the motorbike section on their licence though.

Is there driving lessons that must be done prior to getting on the moped?

Would they have to get a provisional bike licence even though they have a full car licence?

Any ideas on how many MPG you get from one of these mopeds?

Sorry for all the questions i haven't really had any dealings with them before!!

If the person has a full B licence issued before 26 October 2006 they would have an automatic Moped Licence. In this case the person would have had to have passed their Test at 17 years of age.

As this is unlikely they will have to apply for a Learner Permit for AM. They will then have to complete an IBT course before being let loose on the road.

Regarding insurance just get an online quote from Carole Nash.
