Electrics - L1 L2 and ~ wiring a dimmer

    Hi,

    I'm replacing a standard light switch

    One wire is live

    The other wire is not live

    When put together the light goes on.

    What wire goes where please ?

    Leave out L2

    If only two wires, one is the live feed and the other is the switch wire.

    Connect the live in the common (C) and the switched in L1.
