Hi all,

Looking for some advice with the the above for my sister in law.

She brought it to a garage where they reckon it's the conrod bearings so the engine is knackered. I suspected it may have been the EGR during the summer. I could see now metal shavings in the oil etc, and a bottle of EGR cleaner seemed to make the car run much better. No judder or knock etc

Could anyone recommend any garages in the Dublin area that know these engines very well? Or if anyone could advise on a rebuilder etc?
