The 12v battery (smaller auxilary one) went in my phev outlander and needs replacing. I have the new one but wondering about keeping power to the car while replacing. Is it necessary and if so, can I use one of those cigarette charger cables to keep systems alive while replacing (Similar to below). Output is 4A from charger. Thanks

It's not necessary on them. Just like any normal battery change, just be careful when removing the boot tray for battery access not to loose any screws or break anything. And depending on what new battery you got, you might have to play around with the gas release tube to refit it.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.
