Bike hire girona / costa brava

    considering heading to costa brava for easter 2024, for a self organised triathlon training week

    looking into bike hire and theres lots to choose from , has anyone here any recomendations

    girona area supposed to be good for cycling too , any good routes ?

    would outdoor pool temp be ok in april ?

    Girona is very nice, both for road and (esp) for Gravel. Fair number of triathlete types about, too. Great evening place, lots of nice bars and restaurants, etc. Small but lovely old town for wandering around.

    Prices vary a lot, so I'd use Google to get the best deal; Eat Sleep Cycle, Catalonia Bike Tours, Trek...there are maybe half a dozen decent rental places. All have mid-range and super-nice bikes (Service Course, if money no object). In April, Irish people will happily swim, while locals will pull up their hoods and look away...
