Doorbell transformer replacement

Looking to replace doorbell transformer in my meter box, as seems most likely to be the issue, no power is getting to the doorbell.

Is this straightforward enough with DIY knowledge? Is there much wiring up involved?

I've tried finding this brand online but was only able to find this transformer " Friedland-d780-transformer" that is similar enough but it appears to have 2 screws in it, will I need to adjust the meter box configuration if so or should it just slot in?

    Thanks!

You just need an 8v AC doorbell transformer.

It's is straightforward but only a REC is allowed to work on a domestic board

Have you checked the push is working and checked for voltage at the chime

    Agree with kirk about rec

most likely to be the bell push outside too(moisture ingress)

    trafos don’t generally cause issues
