    Shame it clashes with ail but can see merits of the games. Ideally if it was on non club weekends it would be perfect

    It’s clear the provinces have had a lot of say in who was to be made available for this side - and the guys who are playing first team minutes were largely all withheld.

    In fairness the tweet Irish rugby put out says it’s an aim to get academy players competitive games. Don’t think it is meant to be the same thing as the emerging Ireland squad last year.
