Hello, I am wondering if someone could advise the best way to configure myself and my husband's tax for next year, we are jointly assessed. I earn €56,600 and he earns €40,500 - can anyone recommend which way to work it with the increase in rate bands from the budget? Thank you :)

I'd split tax credits equally.
I uploaded a spreadsheet to figure out how to split standard rate band between a couple.

The standard tax band in 2024 is €42,000.
You should take €1,500 of your husband's tax band.
