Window bay structure advice

    Hi all,

We are looking to replace our window in the window bay of our house which was built in 1980s. Currently, this is the window bay which is one piece of frame and windows for upstair and downstairs

The fitter who we called out to give some quotation suggested a new structure which also have a new solid metal frame, and there will be insulation in the middle part and then he will have the bricks to cover outside the middle part.

This is what we are looking for after replacement with the brick built in the middle.

We are a bit skeptical about the one piece frame. we are worried that with the one piece, if something get wrong with any part: upstair, middle and downstair, we have to replace the whole thing. We really love the quality of the windows which the fitter propose. The window manufacturer has a good reputation in the UK. We just a bit concern about the structure things.

    Appreciate any suggestion.
